Liz Roland is an artist and aspiring writer, who has been honing her crafts ever since her toddler fingers could hold a crayon. Her inspiration lies in the empowerment of women and children in less fortunate cultural circumstances around the world, and she hopes one day to use her abilities to help their voices be heard, in whatever small way she can.

She is motivated by the work of John Singer Sargent, Stephanie Sinclair, Alphonse Mucha, Dean Cornwell, Norman Rockwell, and James Jean, to name a few. She has her Associates degree in Fine Arts from Norwalk Community College, and plans to recieve her Bachelors in English at UCONN by 2016.
